Roles And Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Support: Assist in maintaining and monitoring cloud infrastructure
on AWS, with exposure to GCP services Firebase, RTDB. Support infrastructure changes under guidance from senior team members.
- Service Monitoring: Help monitor and troubleshoot issues across microservices
architecture. Participate in incident response and root cause analysis activities.
- Security Compliance: Follow established security best practices and procedures.
Assist in implementing security configurations and maintaining compliance standards.
- Network Configuration: Support network configuration tasks including VPC setup, security groups, and connectivity troubleshooting under supervision.
- Monitoring & Alerting: Set up and maintain monitoring dashboards and alerts using tools like New Relic, Datadog, or similar platforms. Respond to alerts and escalate issues appropriately.
- CI/CD Support: Maintain and improve existing CI/CD pipelines. Debug build and deployment issues, and implement pipeline optimizations.
- Automation Tasks: Write scripts and automation tools to reduce manual work.
Contribute to infrastructure-as-code initiatives using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Database Operations: Perform routine database maintenance tasks, backup
monitoring, and basic optimization under guidance.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for processes,
runbooks, and infrastructure configurations.
Skills We Are Looking For
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms, particularly AWS EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda)
with basic exposure to GCP services
- Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker and familiarity with
Kubernetes orchestration
- Experience with at least one monitoring/observability tool (e.g., Datadog, ELK
stack, or New Relic)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts VPC, subnets, security groups, load balancers)
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code concepts and configuration management
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, or JavaScript)
with ability to write scripts and automation tools
- Working knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL concepts)
- Understanding of CI/CD principles and version control (Git)
- Awareness of security best practices in cloud environments
