Role Summary
This role involves managing the complete DevOps lifecycle, with a primary focus on developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, onboarding and managing infrastructure, and automating manual processes to enhance system stability and performance. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in Linux, scripting, cloud platforms, observability tools, and modern DevOps methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git.
- Onboard and manage infrastructure components for large-scale platforms.
- Develop and maintain DevOps automation tools to reduce manual effort and improve system reliability.
- Drive initiatives for environment stability and enforce infrastructure hygiene practices.
- Implement observability and monitoring using tools like Splunk, Prometheus, Loki, and Grafana.
- Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery and support.
- Manage hybrid environments, including both cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises infrastructure.
- Support deployment and operations using Docker, Kubernetes, and other orchestration tools.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems, OS fundamentals, and networking.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
- Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git, Autosys, and Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with observability tools: Splunk, Prometheus, Loki, Grafana.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
- Cloud platform experience with at least one major provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Self-driven with a proactive attitude toward learning and improvement.
Nice-to-Have / Preferred
- Exposure to data domains, ETL workflows, or related data engineering practices.
