Role: DevOps Engineer – Financial Services
Location: Charlotte, NC
Salary: $165,000 - $205,000
A leading global financial institution is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support its Anti-Money Laundering (AML) technology stack, including the Quantexa platform. This role is part of a broader initiative to strengthen compliance and regulatory capabilities across the Americas.
Work Model:
- Hybrid work arrangement
- Candidates must reside within reasonable commuting distance of a U.S. office location
- Specific hybrid schedule will be discussed during the interview process
- Note: Certain roles may require full-time in-office presence
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and support applications using Scala (preferred), Python, or other object-oriented languages
- Build and deploy solutions in Azure, integrating services such as Azure Data Factory, Gen2, and Databricks
- Work with Elasticsearch and relational databases (preferably MS SQL Server and Azure-hosted databases)
- Manage the full DevOps lifecycle using tools like Git, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins
- Collaborate using Jira, Confluence, and Agile methodologies
- Design and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
- Ensure high-quality, timely delivery of solutions aligned with SLAs
- Communicate effectively with business users, support teams, vendors, and stakeholders
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues with strong analytical skills and quick turnaround
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in software and systems implementation
- Background in AML, fraud, or financial crime technology preferred
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
