Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage network security tools, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems to protect data and infrastructure.
- Configure and manage virtual and physical networking setups, including switches, routers, and VLANs to optimize network performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with software development teams to identify and resolve bottlenecks in application performance across different environments.
- Lead incident response drills, simulating attacks or system failures to test the resilience and response capabilities of the team and technology.
- Document network architecture and infrastructure design with detailed diagrams and flowcharts.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend updates and upgrades to keep systems robust against evolving threats.
- Manage and optimize cloud services and resources, including integration with on-premises technologies.
- Provide detailed and timely reporting on infrastructure performance metrics and other key indicators to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with regulatory compliance teams to ensure all infrastructure meets required legal and operational standards.
- Lead the design and implementation of service mesh architectures to enhance microservices communication and security.
- Tech Stack:
- Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Linux, SQL, Git, Python
- AWS Services: RDS, EKS, EC2, ALB, Lambda, Elasticache, SNS, SQS, VPC, Route53, IAM, Opensearch.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience with AWS, GCP ,Azure services.
- Operating Systems:
- Experience with Windows Server administration is a plus.
- Automation and Configuration Management
- Expertise with automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
- Ability to write, test, and maintain Terraform scripts for infrastructure automation.
- CI/CD Pipelines:
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps.
- Ability to design, implement, and manage end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.
- Expertise with automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
- Ability to write, test, and maintain Terraform scripts for infrastructure automation.
- Containerization and Orchestration:
- Proficiency in container technologies like Docker.
- Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Docker Swarm.
- Cloud Platforms:
- Hands-on experience with one or more cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of cloud-native services and architecture.
- Experience in creating and managing cloud landing zones to establish a secure, scalable, and compliant cloud environment.
- Scripting and Programming:
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with programming languages like Go, Ruby, or JavaScript is a plus.
- Version Control Systems:
- Strong experience with Git and platforms like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
- Monitoring and Logging:
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, or New Relic.
- Familiarity with logging tools such as ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Splunk, or Fluentd.
- Networking:
- Understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Experience with network troubleshooting and security.
- Security:
- Knowledge of security best practices and tools (e.g., SSL/TLS, firewalls, intrusion detection systems).
- Experience with vulnerability scanning and compliance (e.g., OWASP, CIS benchmarks).
- Infrastructure Automation:
- Experience in building and maintaining automated deployment pipelines for infrastructure.
- Proficiency in using Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Experience with Terraform modules, workspaces, and state management.
- Landing Zone Creation:
- Expertise in designing and implementing cloud landing zones.
- Knowledge of best practices for creating secure, scalable, and compliant landing zones on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Ability to automate the creation of landing zones using Terraform and other IaC tools.
- Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory):
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
- Google Professional DevOps Engineer
- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
