We are looking for a skilled and motivated
DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic R&D engineering team in Pune. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing and implementing a robust DevOps strategy, ensuring seamless integration between development and operations. You will work closely with Agile teams, contributing to our continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring efforts.
Location: Pune, India
- Strategy Design:
- Develop a comprehensive DevOps strategy and infrastructure aligned with the agreed architecture and business requirements.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and Git.
- Automate testing, deployment, and monitoring processes to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
- Tool and Technology Selection:
- Evaluate and select the best tools and technologies that meet product needs and enhance productivity.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure application performance meets expectations.
- Collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary Agile teams, adopting Agile methodologies and tools.
- Innovation and Problem-Solving:
- Develop innovative solutions to address complex issues and enhance future functionalities.
- Code and Design Review:
- Conduct thorough reviews of design and code produced by team members to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
- Mentorship and Guidance:
- Mentor and guide team members technically to foster growth and knowledge sharing.
- Cross-Functional Interface:
- Interface with various R&D groups and support tiers to align efforts and resolve issues collaboratively.
Requirements
- Education: Degree in Computer Science, Industrial/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 4-6 years of experience leading DevOps toolset adoption and environment provisioning – on-premises and cloud (AWS).
- DevOps Strategy: Ability to define and implement DevOps strategy and plans.
- Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting DevOps tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible, Jfrog, Maven, Ant, msbuild.
- Experience with code security tools for dynamic and static scans.
- Proficiency with public cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Expertise in Continuous Integration and Delivery practices using tools like Jenkins, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and Artifactory.
- Experience setting up DevOps in cloud environments.
- Soft Skills:
- Self-motivated and fast learner with a strong sense of ownership and drive.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively as a team player.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
