THE ROLE
Devops Manager
Location: Mumbai / Pune

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement strategies for system scalability, security, and efficiency. Plan and execute projects to improve infrastructure and development processes.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Champion: Advocate for and champion IaC principles. You will develop and maintain well-structured CDK code to provision and manage AWS resources, ensuring infrastructure is defined declaratively and repeatably.
- On-Premise Automation Expert: Leverage your expertise in Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration for on-premise deployments, streamlining manual processes and ensuring consistency.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient code releases.
- DevOps Bridge Builder: Foster seamless collaboration between development teams and Cloud operations. By establishing clear communication channels and streamlined integration and delivery processes, you'll ensure applications are deployed smoothly and reliably.
- Automation: Drive automation of processes and tasks to enhance productivity and reduce human error.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement monitoring tools and strategies to proactively identify and resolve system issues. Lead incident response and root cause analysis efforts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering , Cloud, Implementation and Product management teams to align DevOps goals with business objectives.
- Security: Ensure the security of the infrastructure by implementing best practices and staying updated on emerging threats and technologies.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Overall 8+ years of experience in relevant profiles.
- Minimum of 4 years in a DevOps role, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial position.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms AWS and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation and Ansible.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Experience with cloud security best practices (AWS Security, IAM)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, CloudWatch)
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- In-depth knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
GOOD TO HAVE
- Experience with SaaS architecture.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure and protocols.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps best practices.
