Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance CI-CD systems (Gitlab, Jenkins, Artifactory) which support multiple tech stacks like Nodejs, Scala, etc.
- Manage and maintain scalable infrastructure comprising hundreds of Dockerized microservices running in AWS ECS/ EKS.
- Think about abstractions, systems, and services, and write high-quality code.
- Leverage modern solutions for infrastructure automation (laC) and configuration management.
- Keep track of the latest evolving technologies and leverage them to drive innovation inside the organization.
- Contribute to improving fault-tolerance, reliability, and efficiency of the overall tech system.
- Automate deployment, configuration, and other ad hoc processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in the industry, preferably in E-commerce.
- Working knowledge of the TCP/IP stack, internet routing, and load balancing.
- Automation in Python, Terraform, bash, or NodeJS.
- Knowledge of AWS services.
- Knowledge of tools like Jenkins, Git, Grafana, Prometheus, Eand LK, APM.
- Knowledge of database servers like MySQL, MongoDB.
- Knowledge of message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ.
- Ability to bring new practices, architectural choices, and new initiatives to the table to make the overall tech stack more robust.
- History and familiarity with server-side architecture based on APIs, databases, infrastructure, and systems.
